Our client, a leading International Consultant, with offices in 60 countries throughout the world is currently seeking a Senior Bridge Design Engineer for various projects throughout Afghanistan.

You will be involved in various projects relating to the design and build of bridges and will responsibilities in managing the delivery of projects to meet time quality and budgetary targets, whilst meeting the client’s expectations.

You will be a senior company employee at the project site and represent the company at site meetings with the construction contractor, client representatives, local government and others, as the situation requires.

You will supervise the operations and activities of contractors and ensure the contract requirements of quality, time and cost are met ensuring the quality and management reporting requirements for daily, monthly and incident reports, and project documentation meets the program QA/QC requirements.

To be successful you will a degree qualified accomplished Bridge Design Engineer or Structural Engineer. Your experience will include supervising all aspects of bridge design including the application of design standards, managing specialist sub-consultants and complex project delivery methods.

You should ideally be experienced working in international work environments and have the ability to work in a hardship location with a willingness to live full-time in a remote field camp location.
