Our client is currently seeking a Senior Rotating Equipment Engineer for a position in Oman.

You must have familiarity with Mechanical Equipment (Static & Rotating) Design & construction standards, Codes & Practices; a knowledge of tank, vessel, pump, compressor, & other Mechanical Equipment Selections. You must have an appreciation of piping and materials disciplines involving sizing, selection, specifications and procurement.

Your principal responsibilities include:

• To provide discipline engineering expertise to all project design phases.

• To assume focal point responsibility for the integrity and fitness for purpose of all specified discipline equipment and systems.

• To conduct system effectiveness studies for new projects.

You must have relevant experience of at least 10 years with the International Engineering Design Consultants dealing with oil & gas facilities. As a Senior Engineer (Rotating Equipment) you must have a minimum of 12 years experience of rotating equipment such as Compressors, Turbines, Pumps, etc.
