This European Consultant is seeking a Project Manager / Team Leader for their HVDC Transmission Project in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The project will have a duration of 3 years starting as soon as possible. Your tasks will include:

Management of HVDC transmission line and converter station projects
Leading and motivating the project team
Preparation of design, specification and bidding documents
Contract negotiation, design approval; progress reports
Management of site supervision
Liaison with the client

To be successful you should have the following:
Degree in Electrical Engineering; MSc or BSc
Minimum of 15 years international experience, with some on HVDC transmission projects ± 300 kV
Fluent in English
French would be advantageous but not essential

The Company would be willing to consider an employment either on a permanent or freelance basis. Details of the packages include:

Permanent employment
• EUR 85,000 per year
• working time 40 h per week
• social insurances
• paid vacation of 30 days per year
• Additional bonuses for working overseas.
Freelancer:
• EUR 12,000 per month
• working time 40 h per week
• only service time will be paid.
