Our client, a UK Consultancy, is currently seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer responsible for witnessing the construction/commissioning of a 2 x 100 MW oil fired conventional thermal plant (steam turbines).

Reporting to the MML Site Manager for the site based team of the Owners Engineer, you will be required to liaise closely with Client’s and Contractor’s engineering staff to verify that the quality of the works meets Contractual requirements and that progress is maintained in accordance with the Contract programme. A thorough knowledge of EPC Contract procedures from the perspective of the Owner’s Engineer will be necessary to achieve these aims. Some design review will also be required to be undertaken at site.

To be successful you must be degree qualified with approximately 15 years experience on similar projects (i.e coal/oil fired boiler plant : steam turbines and auxiliary mechanical plant and systems).
